While he does indeed discover our beautiful Earth, he finds himself stranded in a mysterious house and shrunken to the size of an ant, complicating any plans of returning home with news of his discovery. Tinykin puts players in the itty-bitty shoes of an intergalactic archeologist/scholar named Milodane, or “Milo” for short, on his quest to discover humanities homeworld. With Tinykin, the developers at Splashteam have crafted a charming little game that lets you live out that childhood fantasy of being shrunken down from the comfort and safety of your couch. The thrill of being tiny and examining your home from a different perspective was something I found fascinating, but the fear or oversized bugs, being accidentally squished by a family member, or drowning in a bowl of cereal always freaked me out. Ants, beetles and other insects have built their cities among the standard furnishings, which are of gargantuan proportions from Milo's perspective. As if that wasn't enough, all the people disappeared in mysterious circumstances and time seems to have stood still in 1991. And it's literally huge, because he has become tiny, which means that even an inconspicuous wasp can pose a great danger to him. The protagonist immediately teleports to the blue globe, but being there, he discovers that he got into huge trouble. In the year 2748 a young astronaut named Milo rediscovers a long forgotten planet - Earth. Tinykin takes us on a journey to the far future. The game was developed by an independent team Splashteam and was published by tinyBuild. Tinykin is a 3D platform game enriched with solutions that bring to mind the popular Pikmin series.
